Magazine Writer. Question Asker.

I am a magazine writer and editor who resides on the isle of Manhattan. For nearly a decade I was an editor at various magazines, most recently Men's Journal, where I was deputy editor. I left in 2004 to write full-time. Over the years, I have written for dozens of national magazines including Rolling Stone, Men's Journal, GQ, Travel + Leisure, Outside, New York, Entertainment Weekly, Inc., Spin, Golf, Men's Health, Budget Travel and Cosmopolitan, where I gave women questionable relationship advice for nearly two years. The subjects are too numerous to list.

I am also one of the founding editors of PLAY, The New York Times Sports Magazine, having worked on the project since its conception in the fall of 2005, and a contributing editor for Best Life, published by Rodale, where I cover cars on a monthly basis and other subjects with less regularity.
